Engineered with first-rate speed, precision and power, the EGX-300 represents a complete engraving solution. The EGX-300 engraves,
cuts and scribes a wide variety of materials including plastics, acrylics, and light metals such as brass and aluminum. Feature-rich
engraving software comes standard.

"The EGX-300 is one of the most advanced computerized engraving systems available in its price range," said Matt Owens, Roland North
and South American Associate Product Manager. "In addition to standard 2D engraving, users can create 3d reliefs and add depth to text
and graphics for great looking signs and awards."
Roland DG Corporation introduced the EGX-300 desktop 3D engraver.
Perfect for the Desktop
The EGX-300 is a compact, efficient and safe desktop engraver. It has a small footprint with a 305 x 230mm (12-inch x 9-inch) work area.
As a safety feature, the machine automatically pauses when its cover is opened. The cover also eliminates debris and reduces noise.
Major Features
The EGX-300 includes Roland's 3D Engrave, Virtual MODELA and MODELA Player software makes professional quality 3D engraving easy
to accomplish. 3D Engraver's tools allow users to add depth to text and artwork and create 3D reliefs for signs and awards. Virtual
MODELA enables simulation of finished jobs before starting. It estimates production time and lets users determine the ideal tool path to
save time and materials. MODELA Player then automatically generates the tool path for cutting.

Also included with the EGX-300 is Dr. Engrave 2D software for creating awards, name tags, nameplates and much more. Dr. Engrave
provides maximum flexibility in importing a variety of file formats, including Windows bit map data, vector art, and scanned logos and
photos. For name tags and serialized badges, users can import an Excel CSV- formatted file and Dr. Engrave will layout their job to fit the
material most efficiently. 3D Engrave, Virtual MODELA, MODELA Player and Dr. Engrave are all compatible with
