Roland DG Corporation introduced the EGX-300 desktop 3D engraver.
Engineered with first-rate speed, precision and power, the EGX-300 represents a complete engraving solution. The EGX-300 engraves, cuts and scribes a wide variety of materials including plastics, acrylics, and light metals such as brass and aluminum. Feature-rich engraving software comes standard.

Perfect for the Desktop

The EGX-300 is a compact, efficient and safe desktop engraver. It has a small footprint with a 305 x 230mm (12-inch x 9-inch) work area. As a safety feature, the machine automatically pauses when its cover is opened. The cover also eliminates debris and reduces noise.

Complete Package of Powerful Software Included
The EGX-300 includes Roland's 3D Engrave, Virtual MODELA and MODELA Player software makes professional quality 3D engraving easy to accomplish. 3D Engraver's tools allow users to add depth to text and artwork and create 3D reliefs for signs and awards. Virtual MODELA enables simulation of finished jobs before starting. It estimates production time and lets users determine the ideal tool path to save time and materials. MODELA Player then automatically generates the tool path for cutting.

Also included with the EGX-300 is Dr. Engrave 2D software for creating awards, name tags, nameplates and much more. Dr. Engrave provides maximum flexibility in importing a variety of file formats, including Windows bit map data, vector art, and scanned logos and photos.
